PEAK-System PCAN-USB opto-decoupled (IPEH-002022) is a USB-to-CAN interface for connecting a PC to a high-speed CAN bus (ISO 11898-2). It supports CAN 2.0A/2.0B with bit rates from 5 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s, uses a 9-pin D-Sub (CiA 106) for CAN, and is powered from the USB port (+5 V DC). The opto-decoupled version provides galvanic isolation up to 500 V between the PC and CAN side, with optional CAN termination and optional 5 V CAN_V+ output via solder settings. It ships with PCAN-View and the PCAN-Basic API plus drivers for Windows and Linux.
