Phoenix Contact PSM-ME-RS485/RS485-P (2744429) is a slim DIN-rail RS-485 (2-wire) repeater used to electrically isolate and segment RS-485 networks, extending range and improving availability. It supports transparent UART/NRZ traffic (10/11-bit characters) and is suitable for Modbus-type signals, with transmission speeds up to 1.5 Mbps. The device provides 3-way isolation between power and both RS-485 ports, has integrated connectable termination resistors, runs on 18…30 V AC/DC (nominal 24 V), and is rated -40…+70 °C in IP20 industrial indoor installations.
