Contemporary Controls BASgatewayLX (BASGLX-M1) is a Modbus-to-BACnet gateway that maps Modbus Serial (RTU/ASCII) and Modbus TCP devices into BACnet/IP, using virtual routing so each Modbus device can appear as an individual BACnet device. It provides one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and an opto-isolated EIA-485 serial port (2-wire or 3-wire), supports up to 100 Modbus devices (up to 1000 polled points) and BACnet COV notification on 200 points, and is configured via a built-in web server. Powered by 24 VAC/VDC (±10%) and DIN-rail mounted (IP30), with 0°C to 60°C operating range.
