PLX31-EIP-PND is a standalone industrial gateway that enables bi-directional data exchange between an EtherNet/IP controller and a PROFINET IO controller by presenting itself as a PROFINET IO Device (slave) while supporting EtherNet/IP I/O connections and message-based data transfer. It supports large data mapping (1440 bytes IN and 1440 bytes OUT on PROFINET), includes an SD card slot for configuration backup/recovery, and provides discovery/diagnostics tools (ProSoft Discovery Service) to simplify commissioning; a conformal-coating option is also available.
