Portable variable-frequency drive training system built around an Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 525 VFD and a low-power three-phase induction motor for hands-on learning of VFD operation, motor characteristics, control methods, acceleration/deceleration, braking, protection, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The system is housed in a rugged wheeled case and includes a magnetic brake, optical incremental encoder, Ethernet/IP coupler, built-in I/O, and fault-insertion switches for realistic industrial training experiments.
