Self-Commutated Converter Circuits

IGBT-based training system for studying self-commutated converter circuits in power electronics. It supports practical investigation of single-quadrant and four-quadrant controllers, AC inverters, three-phase inverters, frequency-converter drives, variable-speed DC drives, and servo drives. The unit includes DSP-based control and measurement, integrated acquisition of multiple voltages and currents, selectable PWM operation, USB connectivity, optional MATLAB interfacing, and an integrated brake chopper, making it suitable for structured laboratory training in converter and drive technology.
