Anybus X-gateway AB7649-F is a protocol-converter gateway that links EtherNet/IP control systems to PROFINET-IO control systems, operating as an EtherNet/IP Adapter and a PROFINET-IO Device for transparent cyclic I/O data exchange. It supports up to 512 bytes of input and 512 bytes of output data, offers fast cyclic transfer (typ. 10–15 ms), and is configured without programming using Anybus Configuration Manager; PROFINET setup is done via GSDML and EtherNet/IP via EDS/web tools. The unit is DIN-rail mount (IP20/NEMA 1), powered by 24 VDC (±20%), and provides galvanic isolation on both network sides.
