Beckhoff EL2809 is an EtherCAT digital output terminal that transfers 24 V DC binary control signals from the automation system to field actuators with electrical isolation. It provides 16 short-circuit-proof outputs (0.5 A per channel), supports common load types (ohmic, inductive, lamp loads), and includes overload/short-circuit protection plus reverse-polarity protection. It is a compact 12 mm wide DIN-rail terminal (IP20) with tool-free direct plug-in wiring for solid conductors.
