IRB 4600 is a highly productive general-purpose 6-axis robot optimized for short cycle times in compact, high-density manufacturing cells. The family is offered in four payload/reach variants from 20 kg to 60 kg and is intended for material handling, machine tending, laser and waterjet cutting, dispensing, measuring, assembly, and welding. ABB positions it as a compact robot with strong productivity, IP67 protection, and OmniCore-based control, with optional foundry and selected cleanroom versions.
