Softing mbGate DP (GCA-EN-024806) connects a PROFIBUS DP segment to a Modbus TCP control system. It acts as a Modbus TCP Server on Ethernet and a PROFIBUS DP Master on RS-485, enabling internal I/O mapping of PROFIBUS DP slave devices into Modbus registers. It provides 2× Ethernet RJ45 ports via an internal managed switch (daisy-chain capable) and supports simple configuration via a built-in web interface.
