It operates as a PROFINET device (slave), supports multiple simultaneous Modbus TCP/IP client/server connections for higher throughput, provides 2× Ethernet ports for network communications plus remote configuration/diagnostics, and includes an onboard SD card slot (optional) for backup/recovery and configuration transfer.
