Robot Vision Cell

Festo’s Robot Vision Cell is a complete industrial learning cell for robotics, camera systems, and automated quality control. According to the official Festo page, it uses a securely enclosed cell with an industrial camera to enable realistic tasks such as palletizing, assembly, and welding simulation with a 6-axis industrial robot. The system is described as flexible because it can be equipped with robots from different manufacturers on request, and it teaches key image-processing functions such as position recognition, color recognition, dimensional inspection, assembly supervision, and combined robot-camera applications.
