SmartCart 4.0

Intelitek SmartCart 4.0 is a modular Industry 4.0 education platform built around an industrial robot for teaching robotics, PLC automation, machine vision, smart sensors, IoT, and integrated system control. The official Intelitek material describes it as a mobile cart-based solution with a MotoMan GP8 robot, Siemens S7 or Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC and matching HMI, Cognex machine-vision sensor, IO-Link smart sensors and actuators, multi-tier Ethernet and IoT networking, a safety laser area scanner, dual gripper tooling, and multiple lab accessories for pick-and-place, palletizing, tracing, sensing, and integration exercises. It is intended to teach students how real industrial subsystems communicate and operate together in an Industry 4.0 environment.
