Waveshare USB-CAN-A (USB to CAN Adapter Model A) is a compact USB-to-CAN converter built on an STM32 solution, intended for CAN bus data acquisition, monitoring, and basic analysis from a PC via a USB virtual COM/serial interface. It supports CAN2.0A and CAN2.0B frames with configurable CAN baud rates from 5 kbps to 1 Mbps, provides multiple operating modes (normal/loopback/silent/silent-loopback), and includes onboard TVS protection to help suppress surge and transient spike voltages. It connects to the CAN bus through a 3-pin screw terminal and ships with a USB cable and screwdriver.
