Hilscher NT 151-RE-RE (netTAP 151) is a Real-Time Ethernet ↔ Real-Time Ethernet gateway that exchanges cyclic I/O data between two independent Ethernet networks using two separate communication controllers and an internal data buffer for secure network separation. Each side provides dual RJ45 ports with an integrated switch (supports star/ring/line topologies), configuration/diagnostics via Mini-USB, and a typical data processing time of <10 ms. Firmware is loadable to support multiple Real-Time Ethernet roles (controller/device, master/slave) depending on the required conversion.
